孙频,女,1983年2月生于山西交城。2006年毕业于兰州大学中文系,目前在读于中国人民大学创意性写作专业硕士,是江苏作家协会最年轻的专业作家。
2008年开始从事文学创作以来,已在各文学杂志上发表中短篇小说两百五十余万字。2013、2014、2017三年入选中国小说学会年度小说排行榜。出版有小说集《隐形的女人》《九渡》《三人成宴》《同体》《假面》《疼》《十八相送》《无相》《异香》《罂粟的咒》《自由故》,《罂盐》《鱼吻》以及长篇小说《绣楼里的女人》。代表作有《松林夜宴图》《我看过草叶葳蕤》《光辉岁月》等。小说集《疼》拥有十几万册销量。中篇小说《醉长安》获《小说月报》第十五届百花奖,中篇小说《东山宴》获第八届茅台杯《小说选刊》年度大奖,曾获三届北京文学奖,中篇小说《月煞》获第十届上海文学奖,等等。
孙频在秉承严肃文学的创作之上融进了更多属于个人化的风格,把哲学、心理学、社会学、艺术等元素与文学结合,不断对人生和社会提出更多值得思考的问题,不断探索新的文学文本,语言瑰丽,打通各种感官。孙频属于这类作家:她把自己或任何别人的生活视为一种测试某些人类特质的试管,在这类特制在试管里,极端禁锢状态下的保持力,对于证明无论是教会版或人类学版的人类起源都是至关重要的。她用小说搭建起“试管”,其内部维持着极端而又自洽的状态(所以她的创作有鲜明的个人印记),来描述“人物的状态和心灵的种种转折”。一方面,她要求我们借由社会批判建立一个护持人性的道德世界;另一方面,其飞扬着血泪的文字唤起的却总是对司法和秩序的大胆僭越——这一社会批判本身的目标对象。这组矛盾构成了孙频小说试管中丰沛的张力。
在孙频2018年即将出版的新书《松林夜宴图》中,主人公梁姗姗于时代创伤中勇敢地追寻着一种文化的自救,“昔我往矣,杨柳依依,今我来思,雨雪霏霏”。李佳音没有被“松林夜宴”的恐怖所吓倒,而是毅然以一己之力,寻找以伦勃朗为代表的自由和审美之境。她正用综合的眼光借鉴古今中西的精神资源来创造她的小说。她的作品无论是在形式还是在精神探索的层面,都出现了一种综合的倾向。这是宝贵的气息和有价值的方向,而孙频,正自觉地践行着这种可能性。

Sun Pin
Sun Pin is a female writer from China born February 1983 in Jiaocheng, Shanxi. Sun graduated from the Department of Chinese at Lanzhou University and is currently completing a Master of Creative Writing at Renmin University of China. She is the youngest professional writer at the Jiangsu Writers Association.
Since starting writing in 2008, Sun has published over 2.5 million words of fiction in a number of literary magazines. In 2013, 2014 and 2017 Sun made the Annual Chinese Fiction Institution List. Her publications include the short story collections Invisible Woman, Nine Crossings, A Banquet of Three, Tongti, Mask,Pain, Eighteen, Wuxiang, Extraordinary Fragrance, Poppy Mantra, Freedom,Poppy Salt and Fish Kiss, and her novel Embroidery Woman. Her representative works include The Picture of the Pine Forest Feast, I Have Seen the Lush Lawns and Glorious Years. Her short story collection Pain sold hundreds of thousands of copies. Her novella Drunk in Chang’an was awarded the Fiction Monthly 15th Hundred Flowers Award, while her novella Dongshan Feast was awarded the 8th Maotai Cup Fiction Selections Annual Prize and the 3rd Beijing Literary Prize. Her novella Moonlight also received the 10th Shanghai Literary Prize.
Sun imbues her writing with her own personal style by incorporating various philosophical, psychological, social and artistic elements. Her works pose thought-provoking social issues and explore new literary genres using rich and sensual language. Sun often uses her characters to test certain human qualities, giving her creations a distinctive personal imprint and allowing her to describe the states of characters and the various turning points of their mind. On the one hand, Sun asks us to establish a moral world that protects human nature through social criticism. On the other hand, the words that shed blood and tears evoke the boldness of the judiciary and the order, which is the object of the social critique itself. This set of contradictions constitutes ample tension in the test of Sun Pin’s novel.
Sun Pin’s upcoming book The Picture of the Pine Forest Feast, which is about to be published in 2018, follows protagonist Liang Shanshan’s attempts to regain the value of culture in modern society. Another character Li Jiayin, unintimidated by the strange atmosphere of the picture, decides to use her own strength to find a free and aesthetic space.
When writing her novels, Sun draws from the spirituality of both ancient and modern China and the West. Readers are impressed by this ability to see issues from a bigger picture.
